About Our Hot Spring
A natural hot spring that emerges in the birthplace of the Somei Yoshino cherry tree—
glowing with a beautiful amber hue.
Drawn from 1,800 meters underground, this rare, crystal-clear spring water is a true treasure in Tokyo.
Infused with rich natural minerals from geological layers formed over 10 million years ago,
the water takes on a warm amber glow when poured into the bath.
Renowned for its excellent heat-retaining and moisturizing effects,
it leaves your skin feeling incredibly smooth and silky.
Clean & Safe Baths – Our Commitment
Hourly inspections for your peace of mind
To ensure our baths are always clean, safe, and comfortable,
we conduct thorough inspections every hour at SAKURA.
These include safety checks within the bathing area, water quality tests for each bath,
and temperature monitoring to maintain optimal conditions.
Dining Area
Enjoy the taste of the seasons in a calm and serene space overlooking lush greenery.
※ Restaurant-Only Use
Please note that dining-only use is available on weekdays only.
On weekends and public holidays, the restaurant is open only to guests using the bath facility.
★ Last Entry Time
The final seating time for the restaurant is 10:00 PM.
We kindly ask that you arrive in advance, as entry after this time is not permitted.
Last orders for both food and drinks are taken at 10:15 PM.
★ We Do Not Tolerate Drunk Driving
At our facility, we strictly prohibit serving alcohol to anyone who will be driving.
If we discover that a guest who has consumed alcohol intends to drive,
we will not validate their parking ticket under any circumstances,
regardless of the amount of alcohol consumed or rest time taken,
until a designated driver or driving service can be confirmed.

where we know the producers personally.

Safety & Security of Our Facility
Certified as a Fire-Safe Facility (Yū Mark & Tekisetsu Mark)
Tokyo Somei Onsen SAKURA has been officially recognized as a fire-safe facility through the acquisition of the
“Yū Mark” (Excellent Fire Prevention Certification)—a designation granted to safe and reliable large-scale facilities such as commercial complexes and hotels.
On September 27, 2009, we successfully passed the continued inspection and were once again certified as an Excellent Fire Prevention Facility.
